This is the homepage of Ricky Weekes who has a great collection of pictures - some of the faces I have not seen for years!!

Jobey Briggs has sent me this picture of a Regimental flag that he has made himself (he had to learn to use a sewing machine first) and which now hangs on his wall at home.   He tells me that the sword that you can also see in the picture was carried and used in the  American civil war and later used by the Canadian militia when some Irish rebels tried to invade Canada after the civil war.  Jobey's brother found it in an old cupboard that had not been opened for years and sent it on to him to keep.   I am waiting for more pictures for all his old regimental and C Squadron friends to see what he looks like now!!!

And below - a more recent photograph!

Thurgood Family.jpg (20380 bytes)

A recent visitor to this website was Leigh Thurgood - son of George and Jackie who emigrated to Australia ,many years ago.   Leigh has sent me this picture of him and his wife and daughter together with Grandad George.   Hasn't changed a bit has he?

I have had to include this picture, also recently received from Leigh Thurgood.   Sennelager Infants School in 1960.  Do you recognise yourself - or your son or daughter.   Leigh is there, and Janet Ranford and one of the Littler boys.
